I didn’t know my nose would develop contracture, you know...? After my first rhinoplasty, people around me said it looked pretty, and I was satisfied too. But after a few years passed, my nose became slightly crooked + the nasal tip curled inward. I kept trying to convince myself, “No, that can’t be it...” But when I finally went to the clinic, they said my nose had developed contracture. Even so, I hesitated about doing it again, so I think I worried about revision rhinoplasty for over a year. In the end, at D-Day, I replaced the silicone implant on the nasal bridge + used donated costal cartilage for the nasal tip, so I changed out all the materials. At first, I was really worried it might not settle properly, but now I can feel that my nose has settled stably. More than anything, I was really stressed that my nose looked crooked, but after replacing the silicone, the line really came back to life. It feels like it was set straight in a way that suits my face shape? These days, when I take selfies and see my nose line, I feel proud myself ㅋㅋㅋ When I had the consultation with the director at D-Day, they checked in detail, one by one, what was uncomfortable and what kind of line I wanted. I think the result came out well because of that process. And this is something I really want to say: whether it’s your first surgery or a revision, you absolutely need to prepare before going to the consultation!! For my first surgery, I seriously went in without thinking at all and didn’t even ask questions... The result of that was contracture…^^ sob Now I don’t have any pulling sensation when I smile or talk, so I’m super, super, super satisfied with the result of my revision rhinoplasty.
