Because of my job, I have to show my face at least once a week, and even if I take time off, I can only rest for up to 2 weeks. If I get epicanthoplasty reconstruction, about how many days do I need to recover..? And please tell me if it leaves a lot of scarringㅠㅠㅠ I’m not sure if it’s upper epicanthoplasty reconstruction or epicanthoplasty reconstruction, but I’m planning to get it done again at the place where I had upper epicanthoplasty before. But that doctor disappeared, so I don’t really know now whether what I had was epicanthoplasty or upper epicanthoplasty. Anyway, how much scarring is there?ㅠㅠ Since I have a job where my face is seen, I hope it still gets better within 2 weeksㅠㅠ
메롱뺭 Upper epicanthoplasty is basically epicanthoplasty with a slightly more diagonal direction, so honestly they’re pretty similar. Scarring is completely case by case, so it’s hard to say. For me, when I met someone I knew after 2 weeks, I covered it with concealer and they didn’t notice at all, but some people aren’t like that and their scars last a long time.
chihuahua [@] If you get reconstruction, does your impression definitely change??
chihuahua [@] And do reconstruction surgeries really have to be done only at famous placesㅠㅠ Can’t I get an AS revision at the place where I had it done before??
메롱뺭 [@chihuahua] Your impression changes subtly. The more you close it, the more it’ll change, right? (like qw이알 and ㅁㅈㅌ) And the second question is hard to answer.. In the end it’s your choice, but reconstruction is much trickier than you might think, especially if you consider internal restoration too. Reconstruction will probably cost over 2 million won, so if it were me, I’d research properly and get it done at a good clinic. If you don’t want that, then you’d get the AS revision.
chihuahua [@] Ah.. thank youㅠㅠ
익명 Recovery is at least 3 months.. And for restoration, the best thing is not to do it if you can avoid it. It’s a very difficult surgery. Even if it isn’t the doctor’s fault, scarring is the default. Do it if your current scarring is stressful enough that you can handle the scarring after restoration.
