My first surgery: 1-month review of upper-body liposuction (abdomen + upper arms)

Since it was my first plastic surgery, I ended up researching a lot of things, and among them, I looked for information and reviews about whether the operating director and anesthesiologist were stationed at the hospital, aftercare, and so on, and I made an appointment thinking I should at least get a consultation. When I first went to the hospital, after the consultant realized this was my first surgery, she explained everything kindly She explained in detail how the surgery would proceed, how I should manage things afterward, and even the follow-up progress My doctor knew my lower abdomen was my biggest concern, but after examining me, recommended doing the entire abdomen I asked if he could also take a look at my upper arms while we were at it, and he gladly did! He said the fat on my upper arms was also an issue, but the back bra-roll area and anterior accessory breast area were severe too, so it would be better to do them together Since I was making a big decision to have surgery, I decided to do them all together As the surgery day approached, I got so nervous From 9 p.m. the night before, I didn’t even drink a sip of water and went to the hospital ( The hospital where I had surgery uses general anesthesia, so you can’t drive yourself, and I recommend taking a taxi! ) I changed clothes and took preoperative progress photos The director checked the surgical areas one final time, and then I went into the operating room I did not wake up during the surgery, and there were no major problems After the surgery was over, the nurses put the compression garment on me I opened my eyes in the recovery room, and I was so cold that I barely managed to call the nurse When I said I was too cold, the nurse quickly brought me a warm hot-water bag And when I asked the time, they said it was 7 p.m.? It took so long from surgery until I woke up that I was really startled for a moment After I woke up somewhat and recovered enough, I changed clothes, took a taxi, and came home I barely arrived home completely exhausted, and fluid was coming out of my back and arms as if it had burst I quickly took off my clothes and checked my body in front of the mirror After a brief moment of shock..... My lower belly was gone, and the fat on my upper arms had disappeared On the day of surgery, the pain wasn’t severe, and I was so satisfied when I saw my changed body line I laid the pads the hospital gave me on the bed and barely fell asleep In the morning, my whole body was very swollen, and the pain came rushing in I took the painkillers prescribed by the hospital and rested well at home I barely took off the compression garment, removed the soiled cotton and bandages, disinfected the areas again, and applied new bandages I was able to shower on the second day with waterproof bandages on, but because of the pain and swelling all over my body, I could only do it very gently By day 4, the pain gradually settled down, but the bruising was still quite severe At one week, I went to the hospital to have the stitches removed!
