I became depressed from the side effects of fat grafting and feel like I’m going to die by suicide. I went just to get under-eye fat repositioning, but I didn’t know anything and everyone recommended fat grafting, so I did it together. During the design, they said they would only do repositioning under the eyes and put fat only in the Indian band area, but they filled the tear troughs and anterior cheek area full at their own discretion, so it clumped, created a step-off, and protrudes every time I smile. I want to die. I can’t smile after the surgery. I can’t live without a mask, and instead they created fat that wasn’t there at all, turning eyes that didn’t need anything done into eyes that now need something done. And then one week after surgery, the doctor in charge resigned without any notice lol. The doctor who did the surgery disappeared, so I couldn’t even have a follow-up or argue with them lol. When I complained to the consultant, they ignored my messages and passed it over to insurance processing. When I complained during follow-up, the new doctor just got angry, saying surgery is based on an expressionless face.
