I had my first nose surgery at another hospital before. First of all, it felt like my bulbous nose was hardly improved, and the nasal bridge also felt a bit mismatched with my face shape. Overall, it was like it didn’t look like I had surgery at all..... So I decided on revision surgery, and this time I really paid attention to every detail of the nasal tip and line, and proceeded slowly from the consultation. What I especially wanted was detail in the nasal tip. So the bulbous-nose look would be clearly improved!!!! And since I originally had rhinitis too, I had also been thinking about functional rhinoplasty. Since it would be good to do it together while I was at it hahaha, I just did them together. I replaced the nasal bridge with a custom implant, and for the nasal tip I used autologous costal cartilage to clearly correct the bulbous nose! Functionally, I had 2 types: deviated nasal septum and rhinitis! Right after surgery, swelling and bruising were unavoidable, but recovery was faster than I expected, and there was almost no pain or discomfort. What I’m most satisfied with is that when viewed from the side, my nose line became much prettier and softer! Before, every time I took photos, the bulbous-nose look was so severe that I often didn’t like the photos afterward, but now I like both the front view and side profile. Breathing has become much easier too. Before, because of rhinitis, nasal congestion was almost part of daily life, but now I just breathe well without thinking about it lol Now quite some time has passed since surgery, so a lot of the swelling has gone down, and the line has settled stably. Because it was revision surgery, I had a lot of worries, but I really think it was the right choice. I’m glad the revision surgery succeeded and even the rhinitis was handled wellㅠㅠ The nose line also fits my face perfectly, so I’m really satisfied.
