This was a surgery I had a long time ago. My chin is somewhat protruding and on the long side. They reduced the length with sandwich osteotomy and moved it slightly backward. Of course it's better than before, but because it was osteotomy rather than resection, I do feel disappointed that there are limitations in reducing the length. The staff were kind, and the doctor seemed to have a sense of aesthetics. During the consultation, the director looked at my face and pointed out my shortcomings one by one, and seemed pretty good at assessing them. Anyway, for a case like mine where the chin length needs to be reduced a lot, I think a resection procedure like contour shaving is more suitable than osteotomy. This hospital seems to only do osteotomy?
