Around 5 years ago, I received incisional double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. After the surgery, I lived well without any problems. For an incision, the scar wasn’t that large, and the ptosis correction also seemed to be done well, not excessive and at an appropriate level. However, I realized this 1 year ago: the double eyelid line had become too low, so when I used double eyelid tape for the first time after the surgery, one eye, because it had been incised more and was slightly lacking fat, looked like it was becoming a double fold, and the other eye had an uneven incision, so when I used double eyelid tape, the skin at the inner corner of the eye protruded and looked bizarre(??), which stressed me out a lot. So when I had a revision surgery consultation, I was told at one plastic surgery clinic that a little of the skin at the inner corner of the eye would need to be incised. I had the revision surgery at another hospital and it went well, but to summarize the surgical result I got here, there were no functional problems at all, and it can probably be summarized as simply that the amount of incision was not neat?? It wasn’t some huge side effect, but I would not recommend incision! I recommend non-incisional..!!
