Review of calf nerve blocking procedure & swelling question

I had surgery yesterday and it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet. I was debating between this and Botox, but I thought continuing Botox would be more of a financial burden, so I just got the nerve blocking procedure. I had the consultation and then the surgery was scheduled for two days later, so it all moved super fast. During the consultation, the director..? did an ultrasound of my calves..? I think that’s what it’s called? You know how in obstetrics they put gel on a pregnant woman’s belly and use a machine to show the baby on the screen... They did that on my calves and showed me on the screen while saying things like there is this many centimeters of medial muscle here, this many centimeters of lateral muscle here, and if they reduce the inner and outer sides by a few tens of percent through surgery, then after full recovery the total calf circumference will go down by about this many centimeters. They explained it while showing me the screen. The reason I keep saying director..? is because the doctor’s profile isn’t listed in the hospital website’s introduction page for the directors;; That makes me a little uneasy because I don’t know which doctor is operating on me;; Anyway, I was also operated on by that doctor yesterday. They roughly drew the design with a red marker, gave me the medication, I fell asleep, and woke up about 2 hours later. I was lying there in that position where your knees are bent up. I straightened my knees without thinking and the back side hurt so much. I got startled, bent my knees again, and after a bit I came to my senses, got dressed, left the recovery room, and went to the lobby. When I walked, I couldn’t fully straighten my knees because it hurt too much.. So I walked with my knees slightly bent and dragged my feet. When I came out, the counselor gave me a paper with precautions and explained everything, and I took the subway home. Even sitting on the subway seat hurt a bit. The back muscles... but I still made it home on my own. And when I slept at home, I still couldn’t fully straighten my knees, so I stacked 4 pillows at calf height, put my legs up there, and slept. This morning it’s a bit better than yesterday, but I still can’t fully straighten my knees.. **My questions The hospital never said anything about coming back after a few days or a few months. What does that mean..? And compression stockings! They didn’t give me any... ㅠ.... Why?? Also, the most important thing is that usually after other people get this surgery, they say they can feel their calves becoming soft and supple. Mine are super swollen. Seriously, I’ve never had my calves get this thick in my life. The swelling isn’t soft and squishy when you touch it, it’s swollen tight, like something is packed insideㅠㅠ seriously, exactly tight and puffy... I don’t have numbness or anything weird with the nerves, and I think not being able to fully straighten my knees will probably get better with time.. What should I do about these tight swollen calvesㅠㅠ and they didn’t even give me compression stockingsㅠㅠ...
