I had revision surgery on March 5. I used a short silicone implant for the bridge and cartilage for the tip. I also used an artificial material called Alloderm Nose Beam. Yesterday they removed the splint, and it hurt so much. Can you see the bulge sticking out from the side of the nose? I thought it was swelling, so I went home, hurt so badly that I took painkillers... thinking it was just swelling, but this morning I had a nosebleed. Red blood was flowing out, so I got worried and went to the hospital. The doctor said that if I were his daughter or niece, he would tell me to take it out.. But since I’m a patient, he would take measures for me. He said it was nothing serious. He said it could be from a burst blood vessel inside and that it was nothing major, then taped it in an X shape so that area would be compressed.. It’s been 8 days with the tape like this. Do I really not need to worry? Isn’t it an infection? Since this was revision surgery, I’m really worried. My family is also very worried.. I’m under so much stress ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
