It has been 80 days since my rhinoplasty, but suddenly the area between my eyebrows swelled up and I had pain. Also, fluid collected at the nasal tip and came out. So I went to the hospital right away the next day, and they said inflammation had developed. They said they would try treatment, and if it didn’t work, removal would be necessary. So during treatment, they said there was one needle-sized hole inside my nose, performed a PRP injection in my nose, and prescribed an antibiotic injection and medication. I had the PRP injection once. After that, for four days I received antibiotic injections and was prescribed medicine, which I took. The swelling went down and the pain disappeared, but the director suddenly said we should do one more PRP injection, so I said okay and had it done. After that, it swelled again, pain developed, and there was also a pulling sensation. When I went to the hospital, they said if medication didn’t work, removal would be needed, and they said the hole inside my nose had disappeared. If the inflammation is treated, can I avoid removal or revision surgery? A pulling sensation has developed; is this contracture?
