Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

2012.04.10 I had only the silicone removed, and now about two months have passed...

You can refer to my previous post for the details of the surgery I had. I only had the silicone removed. The ear cartilage that had been positioned at the tip of the silicone, and the nasal tip cartilage binding, are still in place. -------------------------------------------------- Seeing that I came back to this community after such a long time, I can feel that I’m feeling much better now.^^ Before removing the silicone, I was really anxious, but the things I had worried about, like contracture and so on, did not happen.^.^ I think it’s probably because I only had the silicone removed through a closed approach, without removing anything from the nasal tip area. The very, very slight hump I used to have seems to have been nicely rasped down by the doctor, so the bridge line is not uneven and is smooth. In other words, I’m currently very satisfied with the bridge line. The problem is the nasal tip. The nasal tip is hard. Maybe it’s because only two months have passed. The doctor said that once enough time passes, I’ll even be able to make a pig nose..ㅠㅠ so I should trust what the doctor said. (For reference, I originally did not have any nasal tip support such as septal cartilage, etc.) Fortunately, I don’t think my doctor is the type to lie, so I’m waiting patiently until the hardness in the nasal tip softens.^^ To summarize, my current condition is: Bridge line: It is not uneven, and I’m very satisfied. Bridge height: Once the silicone was removed, it did get lower, as expected. It returned to my original bridge height. Compared with old photos, it does seem very slightly higher than my original bridge, but honestly I don’t remember the old bridge height that well.ㅠㅠ Still, I’m satisfied with this too.^^ Nasal tip shape: This is the same as the surgical shape, so pass. Nasal tip sensation: It is quite firm. It also feels strange if I touch it. ㅠㅠ I absolutely cannot make a pig nose, and I’m trying not to touch it much. Because I’m scared. Inside the nose, I’m only lightly wiping with a cotton swab. Psychological state: After removing the silicone, I feel muuuuch better.^^^ Before, I really couldn’t even eat properly and it was so hard, but now I’m good.^^ Except when I occasionally think about my nose. When I look at the open-surgery scar, I still feel bad. ㅠㅠ Someone very kindly sent me a message about this, and if the open-surgery scar is severe even after a lot of time has passed, I’m going to get separate treatment for it.. I had my nose touched a total of 3 times, so ㅠㅠ I think the open-surgery scar is severe, twice were open approach, and the last time was closed approach to remove only the silicone. If anyone has anything else they’re curious about, please ask.ㅠㅠ Because I also went through a difficult process, I fully understand how everyone feels. Let’s all stay strong together.^^ Fighting
