I’m planning to get under-eye fat repositioning (transconjunctival fat repositioning) together when I get my nose done. I happened to see a post saying that if you do septal reinforcement when getting under-eye fat repositioning, it maintains better later on. So I asked the clinic where I’m getting my nose done, and they said septal reinforcement isn’t essential. They said that since I’m in my mid-30s and don’t have sagging yet, if the under-eye area is fixed too strongly, it could flip outward and the conjunctiva might become visible, so they can’t necessarily say it’s always a good thing. I don’t know which answer is rightㅠㅠ
호호호롱이 That’s my first time hearing about something like that. Is there really a need to go out of your way to do it? Under-eye fat repositioning isn’t even a major surgery. Wouldn’t it be better to just do it once more 10 years later? I feel like there’s no need to take on a big risk unnecessarily.
희짱꺄 Not the lateral canthus, but the septum? If you do repositioning, that’s naturally included, though.
furi Septal reinforcement is done only when it’s truly necessary.
소지연 I heard it’s better to do it.
알커피 If you don’t do septal reinforcement with under-eye fat repositioning, doesn’t it come undone quickly?? That’s why there’s no such thing as the under-eye fat repositioning effect being just so-so or quickly going back; popular clinics all seem to do the surgery together with septal reinforcement. I’m also looking up clinics because I’m planning to get under-eye fat repositioning this year. Most clinics known for under-eye fat repositioning all do septal reinforcement. Clinics like ㅁㅎ, 나, ㅇㄷ. As far as I know, if septal reinforcement isn’t included, it comes undone quickly. I know it as being basically pointless.
