I kept using double eyelid tape and glue, and it was annoying and frustrating, so I begged and begged and had incision surgery 6 years ago. I truly regret my choice so much. First of all, the double eyelid tape and glue... if it hadn’t stretched my eyelid skin that much, I wouldn’t have gone for incision surgery. If it had been buried sutures.. I would have gone straight for revision surgery, but because incision surgery left a lot of scars, even looking for a revision clinic because of the scars is a bit difficult. There’s no guarantee it would turn out better than my eyes now, so I hesitate to get revision surgery. The scars are very dark. And because of the scars, the line is all over the place. Even with the cut marks, it doesn’t form along that line and just goes wherever it wants. Some people even thought, “Oh, they must have had surgery because of the scars,” but since the eyes are uneven and the line is a mess, they also wondered, “Or maybe not?” haha.. bitterly funny.. Now I actually think the eyes I had while using double eyelid tape were prettier. Every evening, after removing the heavy eye makeup I put on to hide the scars and the uneven line, I look in the mirror and sigh deeplyㅠㅠ Out of the three friends who had it at the same time as me, two healed naturally so the scars aren’t noticeable on their eyes, and one turned out well but is also stressed because the scar is visible. Plastic surgery really feels like a gamble. Of course it’s right to go to a famous, skilled clinic, but please really get consultations at multiple places!! It was 6 years ago for me, so I just went to a place recommended by someone around me, consulted there, and had the surgery 3 days later ㅠㅠ
