This is a review of functional rhinoplasty (rhinitis + nasal tip) and full-face fat grafting. I usually had severe rhinitis and a lot of discomfort such as nasal congestion/runny nose, so I wanted to have surgery. Since I was doing it anyway, I thought it would be good to shave down the hump and raise the nasal tip too, so I consulted at several places. I had consultations at about 5 places in Gangnam and Apgujeong, and among them, I ended up doing it at Be The New! The reasons I chose Be The New were: 1. The director’s experience, and whether he examined me thoroughly during consultation 2. Reasonable price 3. A place whose preferred style matched mine (a natural yet glamorous nose) 4. Whether there was CCTV in the operating room 5. Reviews that were not bad Above all, the director had a lot of rhinoplasty experience since his time at Konopi and also had pride in his work, so I could trust him. For the rhinoplasty materials, septal cartilage and ear cartilage were used, and because I did not want to use silicone, I did not raise the nasal bridge. Since my face is on the thin side, he also recommended fat grafting, so I had it done together. On the day of surgery, I was nervous and, since it was my first surgery, a little scared too, but I am very satisfied with the result! Things I wanted to improve: 1. Hump nose 2. Long midface 3. Hollow cheeks All of them improved, and I’m happy that my nose became naturally pretty, not a nose that obviously looks surgically altered. Friends, family, and my boyfriend all say the surgery went well haha. Most of all, I really like my side profile of the nose, and my face gained dimension, so I feel more confident. I regret not doing it sooner... There is still a bit of swelling from the fat grafting, but it feels plump without being excessive..? He filled only the sunken areas of my face and made me look younger.
