Review I was lying down using my phone and stopped by after a long time, and I thought I saw some people here worrying the way I used to, so I’m leaving a brief review. I got a lot of help here. (I did write this on the hospital review app too, but I’m leaving a post here as well)
The photos were just roughly taken while I was lying down, so please use them only as reference~
I had surgery with Dr. ㄱㅈㅎ at ㄴㅅㅎ in Sinsa. Because the fat in my eyelids was thick, I had a partial incision at 8-9 mm (he said it would come undone if I did burial/incisional-free suture method) and I had medial epicanthoplasty together.
The reason I chose this doctor was that I liked the line he designed the most, and even though he didn’t feel super high-energy or extremely proactive, he calmly and carefully listened to the style I wanted.
I had it done in February, so I think it has been about 4 months.
Conclusion: no regrets It turned out naturally, just the way I wanted, and I like that it came out exactly to the degree I wanted.
Things I especially liked - The doctor. His attitude was just good. Even on the day of surgery, I brought notes organizing what I wanted, and he looked through them carefully. - The price. With the deposit, writing a review, and so on, it came out inexpensive. It was the cheapest among the places I consulted. - As part of aftercare, they gave me swelling laser treatment about three times for free.
Things that were disappointing - My consultant changed once in the middle, and it felt a bit... sudden when I was notified, so I felt it was somewhat irresponsible. There wasn’t any major problem, though. - I felt the aftercare wasn’t extremely meticulous. It’s not that anything was lacking, but from other hospital reviews, it seems like they also pay attention to later progress, whereas here it was just an aftercare guide + kit and that was it. It seemed like they wouldn’t mention the swelling laser unless I brought it up first lol.. - From far away it isn’t noticeable, so I’m living without paying much attention to it, but I did get a little scarring from the medial epicanthoplasty. It feels like slightly dark pigmentation?
Other - As I was informed beforehand, my eye asymmetry was not corrected. Even the swelling went down unevenly, and even after it all subsided, the double eyelid thickness feels subtly different. I was told beforehand that this is because one of my eyeballs protrudes more. But having double eyelids definitely makes the eye asymmetry less noticeable than monolids. So I’m satisfied.
If I could go back to the past - I think I would still do it here. The medial epicanthoplasty is a bit disappointing, though.. - I would want to ask them to lift the tail end of the line a little more. This is just my personal preference..
