The consultant tends to recommend this and that. Even though she isn’t a doctor, she kept saying to do this and that, so I rolled my eyes, let it go in one ear and out the other, and then went in for the doctor consultation. The doctor understood the needs of the person receiving surgery, explained how the surgery would be done, and explained everything very gently and kindly. And when I asked whether I had to do the things the consultant recommended, the doctor said if the patient wants them, then they can do them, but they’re not necessary, so I made a same-day reservation and scheduled the surgery date.
The downside is that the staff are unfriendly. They couldn’t find a vein and poked me about four times, wrecking one forearm and turning it purple.. Other than that, I’m mostly satisfied.
