I’m writing a review 4 years after LASIK I had high myopia, and smaller ophthalmology clinics said LASIK was impossible for my eyes. People say B&VIIT Eye Center is a factory-style ophthalmology clinic, but they have many medical staff and the equipment seemed decent. They said LASIK was possible, but because of my high myopia, my best corrected vision would be 1.0 at most. Still, I really didn’t want LASEK, so I decided to have surgery that same afternoon. At the time, I was a university student, so with a school partnership discount + same-day surgery discount, it was 1.2 million won. I added serum eye drops on top of that and paid a total of 1.5 million won! When it’s surgery time, several people go in together, get surgery one by one, then sit on a sofa with eyes closed and wait for 1 hour. After 1 hour, when you open your eyes, it’s not perfect, but you can see enough to go about daily life without glasses. I had worn contact lenses for about 10 years, so I already had slight dry eye, but for a few months after LASIK, my eyes felt quite dry and gritty! After time passed, I don’t notice a big difference compared with before LASIK. Even now, once in a while, there are mornings when my eyes feel dry and gritty, but if I put in artificial tears, they get better right away. Everyone is probably hesitating because of dry eye or side effects, but even if I went back, I think I would definitely get LASIK again!
