Hello. I had been actively looking into removal, but I was too scared to touch my face again, so I just lived with it.
It has now been almost 5 months since surgery.
I had silicone on the nasal bridge, and a septal support strut + ear cartilage for the nasal tip.
But starting a little while ago, the ear cartilage began showing through as a round shape on the nasal tip.
Friends around me said they couldn’t really tell. Only after I point out where it is, they say something like, “Ah, I can see it.”
When I take photos, depending on the angle of the light, sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesn’t. That’s the current state.
Right now.... if it stops at this state, that would actually be a relief,
but if it gets worse, I’ll have to think about removal.
What I’m curious about is the reason the nasal tip cartilage shows through ㅠㅠ
Is it because the silicone is pushing it out? There’s nothing wrong with the nasal bridge... If it is simply showing through because my skin is thin,
is there no way it can stop here? Is it just showing through, or will the cartilage break through and come out...?
Does it get worse as time passes? Sigh... I feel heavy and scared..
