After medial canthoplasty restoration, the inner corner of one eye became shaped like a ㄷ, so another hospital said they could repair it, and I went into surgery as a medial canthoplasty restoration. But doesn’t one side look too widened, like I had medial canthoplasty again..? The hospital says it may look pulled because of swelling and the stitches, but how does it look to you? ㅠㅠ
하늘다람지지지 Was it restored…? It doesn’t look like an eye that had restoration.
하늘다람지지지 [@삔츠] Yes, it looks a bit like an eye with excessive medial canthoplasty.. This seems like a hospital issue. For something that was supposed to be a restoration surgery, it looks more like overcorrection of the canthoplasty.
삔츠 [@하늘다람지지지] Ha ㅠ The hospital says it’s because the stitches are pulling.. or maybe because of swellingㅠ Looking at the photo, which side looks more excessive to you?
하늘다람지지지 [@삔츠] In the photo, I think the left side looks a little more like that.
익명 [@] After getting the stitches removed, please take good care of the scar!!
삔츠 [@] It looks like medial canthoplasty; doesn’t it look excessive?ㅠㅠ And what’s the best way to take care of the scar?
익명 [@삔츠] Looking at reviews of this hospital, after the stitches are removed there’s a characteristic scar shape: a white scar on the under-eye fat area and a scar that covers like an epicanthal fold. Please apply ointment well so it doesn’t get worse ㅠㅠ If you have the time and budget, please get laser scar care. If you search here.. you’ll be able to see that it’s not a very good hospital.
삔츠 [@] Yes, thank you! Does the medial canthoplasty look excessive by any chance?
익명 [@삔츠] For restoration, you can only tell after the stitches are removed and about 3 months have passed. You should roughly allow 6 months for recovery.
치키차카초코에몽 Could you share the hospital information?
똥먹자 When I first had epicanthoplasty reversal too, I was worried whether it had been done properly because of the stitches at the front. It’s more likely to be swelling and the stitches!!
