# Why did you choose this procedure? I had always been concerned that the space between my eyes was wide. # Was there a reason you chose this hospital? While looking through reviews on apps, I found two procedure reviews with the results I wanted, and the hospital and doctor for both were the same, so I booked a consultation. # How did the consultation proceed after your visit? I scheduled the procedure consultation date and time through their KakaoTalk channel, and I was able to have the consultation at the appointed time without any waiting. I told them I wanted only medial epicanthoplasty without double eyelid surgery, and rather than trying to match the ideal distance between the eyes, I wanted the eyes to become slightly closer than now, but without my impression changing dramatically or looking too obvious. After looking at my eyes, they said that if they opened them too much, the lacrimal caruncle would be more exposed, so my eyes were not the type that could be opened a lot to begin with, and that it was possible to proceed in the direction I wanted. # How was the procedure performed? I think they administered anesthesia to the procedure area 3 minutes after general anesthesia, and from the moment the procedure started, I was fully conscious, but there was absolutely no pain at all. # Did you have any pain or swelling after the procedure? As I said earlier, there was almost no pain during or after the procedure. Looking at other reviews, it didn’t seem like a procedure with severe swelling or bruising, but I had a little, and it was fine after the stitches were removed (one week). (This part is probably because I tend to swell and bruise easily. Even when I had other procedures, I swelled and bruised much more than other people.) # Procedure review In conclusion, I am so, so, so satisfied. When I asked how much they had opened it, they said it was hard to say exactly, but it seemed to be about 1-1.5 mm. Rather than my eyes becoming extremely close together, maybe because the positions of the inner corners of my eyes were corrected to the same level, my impression didn’t change and it doesn’t look obvious; it looks natural. I had asked them, “Please make it natural, but better than not having done it,” and this is exactly the result I wanted. They also provide a post-procedure care kit, and they explain everything while giving you a paper with care instructions! If you want natural medial epicanthoplasty, I totally, totally recommend this place.
