My body type is between slim and average, but because I had quite a thick layer of fat on my upper arms, the side line bothered me so much that I had been looking into arm liposuction since about 4 years ago. I somehow combined days off and annual leave to make 4 days off, and I was determined to get arm liposuction then, so I looked around for places famous for arm liposuction I had previously had nose surgery, but I had looked into clinics and online reviews pretty roughly and ended up with a result I didn’t like, so this time for arm liposuction, I only looked for hospitals with a single director and no more than 2-3 surgeries per day (my mindset was basically, if it wasn’t a single-director clinic, just skip it no matter what) Actually, this was the last place I had a consultation, and before coming here, there was a clinic I liked quite a lot, so I had even paid a deposit there and had decided to do it there. And I almost didn’t go to this consultation because it was bothersome, but I thought I had heard they were good at consultations, so I went just to at least check it out I went after seeing posts saying the consultant was unfriendly, but even though my mindset was absolutely not open-minded, I did not think the consultant was unfriendly even 1% As soon as I entered the hospital, the desk staff, consultant, and doctor were all so kind and explained things well! Before the consultation, I changed clothes, measured my BMI, waited, then had the consultant consultation first, followed by the director’s consultation The director was the sweetest + most handsome among all the clinics I had visited while looking into liposuction. He explained things kindly in a gentle voice and gave a very long consultation tooㅎㅎ (The consultation fee wasn’t being charged for nothing...) He looked at my BMI paper and said it showed I didn’t have much fat on my arms, but in reality there was a bit more, asking why it came out like that? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was just sad... tear... Similar to other hospitals, I was told I should do the arms, but didn’t need to do the accessory breast area or scapular area. But since I wanted to remove the accessory breast area too, I had the consultation while looking at the arms + accessory breast area together, and I told the director that I was very scared of lumpiness and cannula indentations, and that if that was the only way it would be removed, I would rather just have him make me a little thinner here, and that I really disliked looking extremely bony. Then he gently told me he would remove it well so that would not happen!! He said he would make a straight line when seen from the front. But he said that when standing at attention and looking slightly from the side, the armpit fat and arm may touch and look slightly convex. He said even Jennie has thatㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ While he was explaining, a name I never expected suddenly came up during the consultation, so by myself I got ahead of myself thinking, is he planning to make me have Jennie’s arms?ㅋㅋ After finishing the director’s consultation, I saw the consultant again, and she showed me before-and-after photos of someone with a body type similar to mine while explaining. They may have been edited, but the arm line was exactly the line I wanted, so suddenly I thought, this is it!! But I was startled when I saw the price. Since my bones are thin and my skin elasticity is good, my arms basically couldn’t go wrong, so I felt there was no need to pay this price and have surgery here, so I didn’t pay a deposit and just left. Then the consultant contacted me saying my arms would turn out so pretty and it was a shame, so we negotiated, matched the price I wanted, and in the end I canceled the hospital I had previously reserved and had surgery here On the day of surgery, I remembered watching videos about side effects of arm liposuction and wondered if I should cancel even then, but before I knew it, I had opened my eyes and was already changed and having the pre-op consultationㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It was an afternoon slot, but the surgery in the morning took a bit long, so I think I waited about 2 hours until I had my surgery.. ㅠ I almost died of hungerㅜㅜ Before surgery, while seeing the director for the final consultation + marking, I said, please make me into Jennie!! and went into the operating room I had seen a community review saying the operating room was kind of not great, but when I had nose surgery I had seen a truly shocking operating room, so this place was not bad and didn’t bother me. I went in wearing sanitary panties + stickers on my breasts, they sprayed disinfectant, and once I lay down, they covered me with a surgical drape, so I felt less embarrassed After the director came in, anesthesia started and I fell asleep right away. I think the anesthesia was a bit strong.. I feel like I saw a nurse in the middle and the director explained the surgery, but only those scenes remain in my memory in fragments, like photosㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ My friend came with me, so they listened to the surgery explanation for me After surgery, there was an electric blanket on the bed turned up extremely hot, so I didn’t feel cold, and I was so thirsty, but my friend had disappeared for a moment, so I pressed the call bell, and a desk staff member brought water and fed it to me directlyㅜㅜ Then my friend apparently forced me awake and we took a taxi home, but I honestly don’t remember how I got homeㅜ It’s been about 4 days since surgery now, and I really like the line. Of course I can’t tell clearly because of swelling, but for now there’s no lumpiness. However, I do have quite a lot of bruising. The pain feels like only my arms were in a traffic accident. Muscle soreness + my sensation is still a bit dull, and my skin has become a bit sensitive, so even just brushing against it hurts a little.. Since time is the only medicine for this, I have no choice but to wait. In 2-3 more months from here, it should get even thinner, but I’m already so excited thinking about wearing sleeveless tops 77ㅑㅠㅠ I have gained a second father. From now on, I will love Director Choi Won-hyuk... I don’t know well about other areas because I haven’t had surgery on them, but at least I understand why this place is famous for arms. If you are considering arm liposuction, I recommend having a consultation here at least once. Heart~
