7 months ago, I had cheekbone reduction surgery with Dr. Kwon Jae-hyun. Now my post-op recovery is completed stably, and I am really satisfied, so I decided to leave this review. I decided on facial contour surgery because in photos and in the mirror, my temples looked flat, my cheekbones were protruding, and my face had a peanut-shaped look with a broad sideways appearance. I kept wanting my overall facial shape to become softer, and I also kept feeling that my face looked too intense because my cheekbones stood out.
While I was deciding on surgery and checking many clinics, the reason I chose this clinic was mainly the doctor’s confident and warm manner from the first consultation. At the clinic, Dr. Kwon personally diagnosed my face shape and explained in very detailed and realistic terms how the surgery would be performed. My questions were answered very well, and I came to believe that if I underwent surgery with him, the parts I was concerned about could be improved safely. The part I liked most was that he said the facial contour could be improved naturally without looking overdone.
The recovery process so far after surgery was faster and easier than expected. Right after surgery there was, of course, swelling, but as the doctor and coordinator had explained, it gradually subsided over time, and after about 2-3 months it settled in so naturally that even others barely noticed any change.
Above all, my satisfaction after surgery is truly the highest. Compared to before, my overall expression became softer, and I gained confidence every time I took a selfie. I am very satisfied because my face looks smaller naturally, with no unnatural or awkward feeling. The biggest change seems to be that as the cheekbone area was naturally set back, the overall facial balance improved. My face changed, but no one seemed to know exactly what changed, which felt very good.
I had many concerns when I first decided to have surgery, but looking back now, I only think I made the right decision to have it done at this clinic. I sincerely want to recommend it to people who are still unsure like me :)
