Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I had removal surgery... I have a few questions...

My nose was low, short, and small… I don’t know if it was just me who felt that way about this kind of nose, and people around me said it suited my image and looked fine, but I had a complex about how low it was, so on March 6 I had surgery using silicone for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage for the columellar support, and ear cartilage for the nasal tip…

What I knew about rhinoplasty was knowledge I had learned in my head from reading surgery reviews on another community, but when my own nose actually became like that, I really couldn’t stand it.. The indescribable foreign-body sensation, the feeling that the nasal tip was constantly being pressed by something, like a stone… pain even if it was just lightly brushed…… The nasal bridge was swollen… Anyway, 8 days after surgery, I went ahead with removal at the hospital where I had the surgery…

Even now, when I think about it, I feel like I must have been out of my mind… The money too, and what on earth did I do to a perfectly fine nose….

Both the director and the consultant tried to stop me.. They said it was swelling… that it would get better if I waited a little longer… that even if it still wasn’t okay after a month, it wouldn’t be too late to take it out then… But I couldn’t wait even a single day with that feeling.. I hated myself for being unable to do anything because I was staring only at my nose every hour… So I almost tearfully begged them, saying I just wanted it removed now, and had the surgery.. The rhinoplasty I had was a very simple surgery, so they said the removal was also just taking it out without an incision… There wasn’t anywhere that had been shaved or tied… I didn’t see the removed implant, but the director said everything had been removed cleanly…

It has now been 10 days since removal.. I have a few things I’m curious about, so I’d like to ask… Please answer if you can…

When I read posts here, people take a medicine called Rizaben after removal surgery… I went to have the stitches inside my nose removed a week after removal, but they didn’t prescribe that kind of medicine… They didn’t mention it at all… After removal surgery, I only received 2 days’ worth of antibiotics… Do I absolutely have to take Rizaben?? Is it bad if I don’t take it?

And

About contraction.. Right after removal surgery, I felt my nose was soft, but then after 2 or 3 days, the nasal tip became very hard…. It’s completely hard… like there is an implant inside… It’s still like that now.. I think contraction has come to the nasal tip and columella area, and the columella area also seems to be contracting, so when I make sounds, it feels tight, and the columella is gradually going inward… The nasal tip has lifted a lot too… Is this really because of contraction…? The hospital says I have to wait 3 to 6 months, but if I wait that long, will it return to feeling soft like my original nose???

Lastly, The shape... Honestly, I’m most worried about the shape… I want to go back to my ugly nose shape from before surgery… To be honest, the hospital also says the shape may not return perfectly to how it was before surgery… My older sister told me that if I felt like I wanted removal surgery, I should decide and do it right away before more time passed, so I also thought that if I took it out quickly, it would probably return well to the pre-surgery shape, and that’s why I decided right away when I felt that way and removed it quickly. Was that the wrong choice?? My nose…. Can it return to its pre-surgery nose shape??? I’m sure everyone feels the same, but I really, really want to go back to my pre-surgery nose shape... desperately......

I feel awkward asking the hospital.. It seems like they don’t really welcome patients who had removal surgery..

Please answer…
