Before <original lip shape> Before <14 days after the first lip filler> Before <14 days after the first lip filler> Before <second lip filler> After getting the first lip filler, the asymmetry was so severe that I called them, but they said they could only help me after 2 weeks, so yesterday was exactly 2 weeks and I made an appointment and went in.
I consulted with the counseling manager, and I said that first of all I wanted to get rid of the asymmetry and that I wanted to add 1 cc more (there was barely any difference from before, but only asymmetry appeared;;) They said it already seemed like the maximum amount had gone in, so they didn’t think the full 1 cc would all go in, and told me not to worry because any leftover would be discarded.
I met the doctor, but it was a different doctor from the one who injected me before. They said my lips hadn’t been uneven before, but after the first injection the asymmetry was severe.
I went in, they did some molding, and while injecting, they asked which side of my lower lip in the photo I liked better, the right or the left. I said I liked the left better, because the right side protruded bulgingly, pulled when I smiled, and looked strange. But they said the right side had more volume, so that was why it lifted when I smiled, and that they would only inject the left side. They put in the full 1 cc, and when I looked in the mirror I realized it lol, like, this is totally ruined.
Maybe the doctor felt it too, because they said I would probably need to pay for another 1 cc and add more to match the unevenness, saying they would keep whatever was left lol. I said I hated it because it was already too thick, but they said otherwise they couldn’t correct the asymmetry. Honestly, when I got the first round, 1 cc was divided into several areas, and I couldn’t logically understand how they couldn’t correct the asymmetry by adding another 1 cc. But what could I do? I couldn’t go home like that, so in the end I said okay.
The result is the last photo, everyone lol. I didn’t intentionally twist my mouth open; even when I just open it slightly, the asymmetry looks sooo severe, but they said it still seems to be swelling. The doctor said it doesn’t show if I keep my mouth closed, so I should keep it closed lol. They said the asymmetry seems much improved compared to before, but I was honestly so angry, and it felt so unfair that my time, money, and pain had been wasted, so tears welled up. In the end, I said I wanted to meet the counseling manager again and cried my eyes out in front of them, and at the end they said they wouldn’t charge me for the additional 1 cc lol. If I hadn’t met them, I would have had to pay that last additional fee with lips like this too, right ..?
It feels like such a waste of time, and to correct it I’ll have to endure pain again. It feels like I paid money to buy a disability, so I feel so wronged and upset ..
Is there any chance it will improve once the swelling goes down ..? If I dissolve it, can’t I get a refund for the filler or anything like that ..? What should I do? Every time I look in the mirror, I want to cry and it’s so hard.
