I recently went for consultations at a few hospitals, but I don’t think any place looked at my case as thoroughly and realistically as this one. Other hospitals just talked lightly, like “It’s possible~,” or only focused on the design during the consultation, so honestly, it didn’t really match the direction I wanted. What I wanted most was for my nostrils not to show, and because my nose is naturally short and my skin is thin, they honestly told me there are limits to raising it blindly, so that actually made me trust them more. There was also discussion of findings suggesting inflammation and contracture, but they explained a direction for improving it naturally within the possible range, which made me feel reassured. Also, my rhinitis is severe, so I considered functional nasal surgery important too. The hospital where I had surgery before was not specialized in otolaryngology, and my rhinitis actually got worse because of thatㅠ I was really worried, but here, the director is an otolaryngology specialist, so it was really good that they looked at the functional aspects together too. That was the biggest difference from other hospitals!! Overall, the consultation atmosphere was comfortable, and instead of saying everything was unconditionally possible, they honestly talked about realistic possibilities and limits. It didn’t feel like a hospital that only recommends surgery to make money, so it was a consultation that made me trust them more.
