I originally have a strong eye-smile, so I didn’t know my eyes were not suited for lower canthoplasty. Because I was the one who asked for it, even though what I wanted was a natural lower canthoplasty, the doctor corrected the outer corner excessively as he wanted, so I ended up looking like I’m about to cry, and I look bizarre even when I smile. I waited for 3 weeks, but it still seemed strange, so when I asked him to release the lower canthoplasty, the doctor snapped and got angry first. He got irritated, asking if I didn’t trust him. He told me to wait unconditionally until 3 months, and said if I still didn’t like it then, he would release it. But I don’t have the confidence to live for 3 months with these bizarre eyes. If I were someone who didn’t meet anyone and only stayed home, maybe, but telling someone with a social life to live with these eyes is just unbelievable. Usually, if a patient asks to have it released a bit more naturally, they say lower canthoplasty is released for only the anesthesia fee, but here they used swelling as the reason (the major swelling is already gone, and lower canthoplasty swelling is almost all gone) and instead threatened me, saying that if they restored it, my eyes would become uneven. (When I went to 2 other clinics specializing in restoration, they said it was indeed overcorrection, and that it was a bit strange to say lower canthoplasty can’t be released because of swelling.) And I had revision double eyelid surgery by incision, and they did it with filler placed in the eye hollow. When filler was placed before surgery, it was fine, but they said they added more filler during the surgery. Maybe too much of that filler went in, because my eyes became uneven. Even after the swelling went down, they stayed uneven. And the filler is heavy and is pressing down on my eyes. When I said I could also feel my intraocular pressure going up, they only kept telling me to shut up and wait unconditionally until 3 months. It’s so absurd. Whether it’s because of the filler, or whether the double eyelid was made too strongly on one side and too weakly on the other... there must clearly be some reason, so shouldn’t checking whether the surgery went wrong come first? Why do they only tell me to wait unconditionally? There seems to be a reason why there are only many foreign patients and no Korean patients.
