<Before surgery><1 month after surgery><2 months after surgery>Before surgery, my eyes were small and long horizontally, so my nickname was Tibetan fox. You know that meme, right? But I couldn’t really argue because they did look similar... lololol Still, it was something that secretly stressed me out, so I got double eyelid surgery this time. Also, my eyes always looked sleepy and tired, so at work I got a lot of misunderstandings that weren’t exactly misunderstandings.. I was clearly full of energy, but people would ask if I was tired.. or if I was sick..ㅠ I wasn’t interested in plastic surgery or anything like that, so looking for a hospital was really hard. Still, I narrowed it down in my own way and went to consultations at 3 places, and among them I found the place that could best match what I wanted, so I went ahead with the surgery. First, what I wanted most was improving my tired-looking eyes!! And since I didn’t want my eyes to suddenly look too overly round just because I had surgery, I told them I wanted naturally larger eyes without overdoing it, so I had an incisional double eyelid procedure with epicanthoplasty + lateral and lower canthoplasty. There was still some swelling until about 1 month after surgery, but after that it went down quickly. Now I feel like I’ve escaped Tibetan fox eyes and have human eyes hehe In the past, eye makeup really didn’t suit me, but now I’m relieved because it seems like any color I put on looks good ㅜ My eyes got bigger, and the line isn’t that strong, so I don’t think it’s very obvious I had surgery.
