I had osteotomy, silicone, nostril reduction, and I think cartilage fixation with the septum as well.
It’s been about two and a half years, and I’ve had brief inflammation on the bridge of my nose, the tip of my nose, and small bouts of inflammation about four times.
1) Once I took medicine, but it went away when I just left it alone. I’ve become really sensitive. Does everyone get small inflammations like that sometimes?
2) The problem is the alar area? I had nostril reduction surgery, and I remember a nurse was doing the nostril suturing from the very beginning.
But now, two and a half years later, there’s a white line stitched up on my nostril that looks like a suture. It’s really tiny, but when I put a needle into the gap, it feels like thread. Are sutures white? Wouldn’t they be black? Or could it be some other foreign material? Could the thread have healed in together as it healed?
The director was busy so I couldn’t get a proper look, and I only managed to see them two weeks later. I’m so worried. Could it be a suture? Could a suture be left in something that small? It seems like nothing, but I’m so worried. I wonder if the doctor will even be able to see it ㅜㅜ
And there was a slightly protruding part inside my nose too, what could that be ㅜㅜ Would an ENT doctor look at that for me? I’m worried the doctor will be too busy and just glance at it ㅜㅜ
