Because my face was large, my cheekbones protruded, my midface was long, and I also had protruding mouth, my facial shape was always very stressful for me. Then, after entering my 30s, I had more time, so I looked into facial contouring surgery and went around for consultations. During that process, through a consultation with the head director at 1 Percent, I learned that I needed double jaw surgery, and I ended up having double jaw surgery and 3 types of facial contouring (High-3D cheekbone + Bespoke V-line) at 1 Percent. I did wonder until the end whether I should have surgery at an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic, but since my purpose was more cosmetic than functional improvement, I decided to have surgery at a plastic surgery clinic, and I chose 1 Percent because the before-and-after photos were naturally dramatic and pretty! On the day of surgery, the pain was not as severe as I expected, and I was out of it, so I was lying there as if sitting on the bed! Unfortunately, the surgery day happened to be the first day of my period, and I also sometimes have orthostatic hypotension, so I had anemia right after surgery, but the nurse took good care of me. It was originally a 2-night, 3-day hospitalization, but the head director said he was worried about me after discharge, so I received a blood transfusion and stayed one more day! Thanks to that, I think I was able to be discharged in good health! After discharge, it was a battle against swelling and nasal congestion! Since I had facial contouring and double jaw surgery together, my nose was blocked, so sleeping with my mouth open made my mouth dry. When I slept wearing the wafer, it was hard to breathe through my mouth, but if I slept without it, it felt like my mouth was opening a bit, so I think I felt unnecessarily anxious tooㅠ At week 1, I wondered when I would get through this period and feel comfortable, but time passed and I am already over one month post-op! I had facial sensation everywhere, though only the right side felt slightly reduced, and now it has almost all returned! Maybe it really is because he is the head director haha The swelling is still quite full even now at one month. In the beginning, I walked a lot, but as I gradually felt better, I got lazy and neglected walking, so I think the swelling has been going down more slowlyㅠ Still, my masculine-looking facial shape has changed to a more feminine feel, and before surgery my mouth protruded to almost the same height as my nose, but now the nose height is the same while the mouth has moved back, so the nasolabial angle has improved and my side profile looks prettier haha. A lot of money and a lot of time are going into recovery, but I am so happy that I could improve a lifelong complex! If I have any regret, it is only that I wish I had done it earlier when I was younger!! While looking forward to more swelling going down, 1 Percent is also the best for double jaw surgery.
