I had revision surgery with Director ㅇㅈㅍ at ㅌㅇㅅ, and it’s been a week. Even before the stitches were removed, I was really bothered because the two sides were uneven and the line was bumpy, but I endured it thinking it would be okay once the stitches were removed and the swelling went down ㅜㅜ But even after getting the stitches removed last Thursday, the scar looks so bad. If the line were at least smooth, I’d be less stressed, but do you think it’ll get better if I just wait patiently?? If anyone has had this experience, please give me some advice ㅜ I’m really torn about whether I should ask the clinic again. I’m trying to convince myself it’s just because it hasn’t even been two weeks yet, but honestly, before surgery looked better ㅠㅠ... Please give me some advice
짝ㄷ눈 When I closed my eyes, the heights were different like that, so I wondered if it was swelling, but now I have uneven eyes ㅠ
호두맘마머까 [@uneven eye] Oh no ㅠㅠㅠ I might end up with uneven eyes tooㅜ Thanks for the comment
익명 Isn’t it because of double-line lowering? That bumpy line looks exactly like a scar from double-line lowering.. The incision line itself seems straight, but there looks like there’s bumpy tissue above it. This is a dissection scar from double-line lowering that doctors don’t mention. I’ve never seen any doctor mention this. I heard that the more the line is lowered, the wider the dissection scar becomes, and scars from double-line lowering also vary depending on skin type. They say the thinner the skin, the more noticeable it is. If you want to know more, I recommend searching for double-line lowering scars in another community..! ㅠㅠ
호두맘마머까 [@] Oh wow, this is my first time hearing about that too ㅜ So it could be a side effect of double-line lowering...ㄷㄷ Mine was lowered by about 1.5 mm though ㅠㅠ I’ll go check that community, thank you
woniwon I was told here that I needed to do double-line lowering too... They said the scar would disappear later. Is that not true?ㅠㅠ
익명 [@woniwon] No one knows what will happen with a dissection scar. It varies depending on skin type and also on the doctor’s skill. Even if the doctor did well, if your skin type is poor and hypertrophic scar tissue rises up badly, it can be very noticeable. If the skin is thin, the wrinkled texture can show exactly as it is, so it can also be very noticeable. At least if you have thick skin + a doctor who is good at double-line lowering, the dissection scar may not bother you much. It’s hard to predict. And even with a regular incision, scars don’t all disappear and become clean just because time passes. Double-line lowering is the same. If you really want to know more than this, go look in another community

Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redoNov 1 What’s the problem here?
I had a revision with the buried-suture method, but the line feels like it has dropped too much compared with the beginning, so I compared it with photos from week 2. As the swelling went down, my upper eyelid stayed the same, so because of
