Writing a review of my implant-free surgery

It’s now been just over exactly one month since I had implant-free rhinoplasty, so I’m writing a review. My nose was a typical bulbous nose with a low bridge and blunt shape. My face shape is on the slim side, but my nose was short and the tip drooped downward, so from the front and also from the side profile, it looked very stuffy, if that makes sense. I didn’t want any implant at all, so from the beginning I only went to clinics where implant-free surgery was possible, and I had it done using septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage. I originally debated between autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, but with autologous costal cartilage, because of the scar and recovery period ㅠ I chose donated costal cartilage, and I think it was the right choice! There was really almost no pain. It was just a slight stinging inside my nose, and some stuffiness when the cotton packing was in? I also had osteotomy done, but the swelling went down faster than I expected... For me, after about 10 days, the bruising had gone down a lot, to the point where I didn’t need to wear a mask when going out. Now a lot of the swelling is gone, and the line feels like it has been refined to suit my face shape well, so I’m satisfied. The nasal tip isn’t too pointy, and it lifted naturally, so these days I’m really into taking side-profile photos. People around me who know I had nose surgery also said my features look a bit more defined. Among people considering implant-free surgery, there are probably many who worry that the line won’t come out well, but the line comes out better than expected, really…!! Donated costal cartilage is also better than I expected... If, like me, you’ve worried a lot about a short nose + bulbous nose + wide nasal line, I think it would be good to seriously consider implant-free surgery too.
