I’m a case where I had epicanthoplasty after it was recommended to me along with double eyelid surgery, but my impression became much stronger than I expected, so I had a revision… Originally, the amount of lacrimal caruncle showing was different on each side, and the eye that was already a little more exposed looked really bad after epicanthoplasty too, so I wanted to do only one side. The doctor also recommended that doing just one side would probably be better, so I ended up doing only one side! I didn’t want to close it too much, so I proceeded with a subtle revision, and after hearing the doctor say before surgery that they would make it look pretty, I felt at ease going into the surgery! Now I’ve gotten used to my eyes, so I feel like it doesn’t show much, but when I look at old photos, I can definitely feel the difference… For those who are really stressed after epicanthoplasty revision, please don’t stress too much, and I think it’s better to have the surgery as soon as possible ㅠㅠ This is from my experience!
