Male autologous dermis + ear cartilage rhinoplasty before & 6-month-after photos

In the photos, the left side is before surgery, and the right side is 6 months after surgery. The reason I took photos at 6 months is that dermis is said to have an absorption rate of about 70-80% after surgery. So every 3 months, you go to the hospital and decide whether you need additional dermal injections. Fortunately, I never had any. When looking at other people’s photo reviews, if they had surgery using dermis, you should look at photos from at least 6 months afterward. Photos posted before that have no meaning. The doctor also smiles to himself with satisfaction whenever he sees my nose, and the nurses who participated in the surgery also said right after the surgery that it turned out very well and that they could tell at a glance, and honestly I am very satisfied with the side profile. My impression was also too gentle for a man, so I often got taken advantage of by people, kept meeting only strange people, and suffered a lot, so in the end I seriously considered surgery and finally got it done like this. My nose became a bit more defined than before, the bridge came alive, the line came alive, and everything is really good, but my nostrils show more. The doctor kept saying that because he used ear cartilage to lower the nasal tip, that couldn’t happen, but after comparing the before-and-after photos, I found that my thought was correct. If you look closely, you can tell that in the process of lowering the nose, the alar rim, which is relatively in the opposite direction, lifted slightly. It wasn’t that the nose was upturned; the alar rim lifted, so the nostrils became visible. Of course, it doesn’t interfere with life, and people don’t mention the visible nostrils at all, but the main purpose of having surgery was to make the nostrils show as little as possible. Since the alar rim lifted instead and they show a bit more, even though the side profile came out very well, honestly I am not that satisfied. It seemed like they specialize in autologous dermis, not in alar rim lowering. But when I look at other people’s before-and-after photos, there are people whose nostrils were lowered and show less. Since everyone’s nasal structure is different, I think this phenomenon only happened to me, but anyway I’m thinking a lot about whether I should just live like this. Still, the side profile surgery turned out very well, and the doctor asked for my consent, saying he wanted to include my photos in an English academic paper overseas. So on the day I reached 6 months, I went to the hospital, signed, and came back. I heard there are hospitals specializing separately in alar rim lowering and nostril lowering, so I went to one famous place. They said lowering is possible, but because my alar skin is on the thin side, the marks of the attached ear cartilage could show through, and my nose could look a bit blunter than before surgery. They said that would make my impression look even gentler than before. The purpose of my surgery was to get rid of the gentle impression as much as possible, so hearing that my nose shape could change after surgery makes me hesitate. Also, because mine would be a revision surgery, they said 1 million won would be added, asking for 5 million won. The consultation manager also looked at my nose and said they would not recommend surgery, and that among visitors, about 1 out of 2 are simply sent back. Seeing that other people sometimes have nostrils that show less than before after surgery too, I guess only my nose has unfavorable characteristics. Even with the same surgery, results seem to vary depending on each person’s nose shape.
