The amount written above is not accurate. It was so long ago that I don’t remember well.
When Namu Plastic Surgery had not been open for long, I had jaw and cheekbone surgery there. It was over 10 years ago. At the time, I consulted at 3 to 4 places, including Wonjin, and thought the price here was reasonable, so I proceeded here. (Thinking about it now, I wonder why I did it at a hospital that had not been open long.)
Back then, I had not heard the term facial contouring surgery, and there were only jaw and cheekbone surgeries, so I proceeded with jaw and cheekbones. My jaw became slimmer, but my cheekbones were reduced so subtly that I wondered, did I even have it done?
Also, from right after surgery, when viewed from the front, both cheekbones were asymmetric. When I mentioned this, they said everyone has slight left-right asymmetry, and although the surgery itself was performed the same way, the result came out that way because I was asymmetric. (But before surgery, I had never thought of myself as asymmetric. I couldn’t tell with the naked eye.) When I had a CT scan, I realized there was asymmetry. I felt they should have operated to make it symmetric, and I was dissatisfied with that part.
Because the hospital had not been open long and maybe did not have that many patients yet, the service was extremely good, such as having a staff member drive me, someone from out of town, all the way home in a company car after surgery.
And anyway, even if it was subtle, surgery had been done to my original face, so for the first few years the effect looked good. But after more than 5 years, maybe because I lost cheek fat, the cheekbones that I had already wondered were only subtly reduced started to look prominent again.
In fact, I recently went to another plastic surgery clinic for a consultation about a different area, and the doctor described me as someone whose cheekbones are somewhat protruding.. (I didn’t bother saying I had had cheekbone surgery before, but that means to someone who doesn’t know, they would never think these were surgically operated cheekbones.) So I want revision surgery related to facial contouring..
I know this place closed down and the representative doctor went to another hospital, but before the incident, the hospital had grown significantly for over 10 years.
After 5 years post-surgery, no matter how I looked at it, I was dissatisfied with the result, so when I revisited the hospital to make a complaint about my jaw and cheekbones, I was surprised by how much larger the scale had become compared with the early opening period.
When I raised a complaint about the surgery, even if they couldn’t offer aftercare service, I wanted them to offer a discount for revision surgery or wanted the doctor himself to directly look at my postoperative condition and hear his opinion. But they just took several postoperative photos, and I only talked with the consultant before leaving. I didn’t even get to meet the doctor.
