I have a bulbous nose, so I had osteotomy to reduce the width. I did not put silicone in my nasal bridge or anything like that. I had nasal tip cartilage tying, alar reduction, and ear cartilage inserted. It has been almost 2 weeks. So far, there are no side effects. But the swelling is lasting a long time, so I don't like the shape. The swelling is going down unevenly... Is that okay? If I had known about this community before surgery, I would not have done it. I didn't know I would have to live feeling this anxious all the time, even if not right away What happens if I just remove the ear cartilage now?..... Will it go back to my old nose? There is no problem, so would it be better to just leave it alone? If I didn't put in silicone, will there not be many side effects? They said they had a hard time operating because my skin is thick. Then do I not need to worry too much about things showing through and stuff like that?
