As of today, it has been about 3 months since my surgery. From months 0-2, it looked like nothing had changed before and after the surgery. From months 2-3, I felt day by day that my chin was tightening up, and that the shadowing on the liposuctioned cheek area was gradually decreasing. By the latter half of month 3, it had been refined nicely, as if I had lost 10 kg of weight. When I visited the hospital at the 2-month mark, honestly, I had a lot of complaints, but the doctor and the coordinator just smiled and said that if I waited a bit, I would feel it. I finally understand what they meant now. After recovery from the surgery was finished, I also received about 3 lifting sessions, and I think it improved even more naturally. It seems other plastic surgery clinics also offer clinic treatments, so I think it would be good to try lifting as follow-up care. These days, whenever I meet friends, they ask why I’ve lost so much weight and why my face has gotten smaller, so I’m very satisfied. I wonder why I only got this surgery now. For liposuction, I think time is the best medicine. Looking at reviews here, it seems everyone pulls their chin in as much as possible and takes exaggerated pre-op photos, but that does not make the before-and-after comparison clear. It’s a shame I don’t have natural before-and-after photos.
