I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method in 2010, but it became an inner double eyelid, and while things were like that, in 2014? 2015? I got dual canthoplasty without knowing anything and it ended up kind of botched (a step-like deformity on the front line of the double eyelid, and only one side of the lateral canthoplasty slightly opened up). I thought my double eyelid line couldn't keep up with the expanded eye position, so in 2019 I had revision double eyelid surgery with a partial incision. That clinic also said the bumpy upper part would disappear if I had an incision, but maybe marks had already remained on the skin, because even after the revision double eyelid surgery, the step-like deformity is still thereㅠㅠ It bothered me so much that I decided on restoration surgery, and I went for consultations at ㅁㅇㅌ and ㅅㅅ this Monday, but the two directors are complete opposites... 1. ㅁㅇㅌ They said it doesn't seem severe enough to need restoration surgery, but the step-like deformity in one eye was also the most noticeable part to the director. They suggested either trying 2 laser sessions only on that area, or doing incisional surgery from the start to cut out only the bent/creased area, and restoring only the one lateral canthoplasty side that opened up. But they said that if we do that, of course my eyes could become uneven, so I asked whether it would be better to close the other side too, and they said they don't recommend restoring an area that isn't even that severe just to make it symmetrical?ㅠ But then they also said that the area that didn't open up wasn't perfectly widened either;;; They said shaving it down with laser varies from person to person, so if it has no effect, I would need incisional surgery, and including the lateral canthoplasty restoration, the price was in the high 1 million won range. 2. ㅅㅅ They suggested doing a slight epicanthoplasty restoration plus upper canthoplasty on both sides (solving the step-like deformity in one eye during this process), restoring the lateral canthoplasty on both sides + doing lower canthoplasty on both sides, so they would restore the back while opening the lower part more. They confidently said that would suit my image better, and I originally didn't want to redo lower canthoplasty (even now it doesn't look like I had lower canthoplasty), but I told them that the lower line of one eye? or should I say the mucous membrane area, anyway the under-eye area doesn't have a curved, crescent-eye shape, and instead the eye shape is almost straight, so it looks really unnatural and comes out strange every time I take photos, which stresses me out. They said they would create curvature in the eye while proceeding this way. The price was in the high 5 million won range for epicanthoplasty restoration + upper canthoplasty revision + lateral canthoplasty restoration + lower canthoplasty revision... One clinic seemed to barely want to do restoration surgery, and the other clinic wanted to do a full set altogether... The consultation results from the two clinics are so different... The price difference is also huge, but people around me say it seems like I don't need to do it, but if I insist, they think the latter is better... Their reaction is that if I'm going to spend money, it would be better to make a definite change. Since I've been thinking about it for 10 years, I was also leaning toward the latter, but today when I looked at ㄱㄴㅇㄴ, there were so many people who were completely botched there... If restoration goes wrong, the process of reversing it seems like it would be such an ordeal, so other than those two places, is there any trustworthy place for restoration surgery?ㅜㅜ This is my first time posting today, so if there's anything that violates the rules, please let me know!!
ilil1il ㅅㅅ is notorious, but there are still people going there. That's honestly amazing.
큐해니 [@ilil1il] I actually booked the consultation through ㄱㄴㅇㄴ and went, but after coming back and searching, I saw some bad reviews too, so I joined this communityㅠ They seemed to do a lot of restoration surgeries, but could you tell me what exactly they're notorious for?
치키차카초코에몽 What do you think about ㅁㅇㅌ?? I'm curious~~
아무거나해요제발 You went for restoration, so why are they telling you to do canthoplasty;;;;
나그네1 [@아무거나해요제발] I think the same
so02 Clinics tend to add more things when I tell them what I want, and it makes me confused.. When I say this is what I wanted, their reaction is lukewarm; even if I go because I like all the clinic reviews and ratings, if they don't do it the way I want, it's kind of hard to get it done there..
에스제이sj I went to ㅅㅅ for lateral canthoplasty, and they strongly recommended a brow lift, so I spent a large amount of money as if I were possessed, ended up uneven, and went through a lot emotionallyㅜ I had revision surgery elsewhere, but I was so shocked by the ㅅㅅ director's attitude and recklessness at the time that whenever a post about ㅅㅅ comes up, I go around advising against it
등굽은새우깡 Have you decided by any chance now?

Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redoNov 2 It's a revision surgery, but would they know if I lied and said it was my first? My non-incisional lateral/lower canthoplasty all closed back up
I had lower canthoplasty 5 years ago with a non-incisional method (periosteal fixation). Now mine has closed back up. This time I'm planning to do lateral/lower canthoplasty with an incisional method, but the price goes way up for revision

I went around for consultations today A Super famous and insanely expensive They explained in detail, talking about things like the characteristics of my eyes and my brow bone And they also explained well why this line would not work,
Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redoNov 1 What’s the problem here?
I had a revision with the buried-suture method, but the line feels like it has dropped too much compared with the beginning, so I compared it with photos from week 2. As the swelling went down, my upper eyelid stayed the same, so because of
