I had a hump nose. My nasal tip was a bit more droopy than other people’s. A nose where the nostrils don’t show? Anyway, it was like that, but this time I raised it a bit too aggressively. I had a costal cartilage strut and cat surgery, so it was raised a lot, and a lot of costal cartilage was also put into the nasal tip. In the end, it was raised extremely aggressively, so I’m trying to have removal surgery as soon as possible. If I get it removed on Monday, it will be removed on day 23.
I’m curious, for those whose nasal tip lifts, does that mean the nasal tip is more lifted than before surgery, or more lifted than after surgery? And they say it lifts because the wound contracts, but once the contraction happens and the scar tissue softens, will it come back down a lot?? Or is there also a chance it could droop more than my original nasal tip? Honestly, I’m scared to death. The foreign-body sensation is also an issue, and it’s just too hard for me to live with something inside my nose, so I’m trying to remove it.. but I’m so scared. I was hurt so badly by my operating surgeon and got ignored a lot by the clinic.. In the end, I’m getting it removed at another clinic known for being good at noses. They say if you remove it within a month, it returns close to the original nose. Will that happen? I’m really scared.. There are only a few days left now...
