My eyes weren’t that small, and if you looked closely, I had slight inner double eyelids, so they didn’t look stuffy, but I would sometimes hear that my impression looked sharp, so rather than making my eyes too round and big, I wanted to try having more refined and pretty eyes, so I got the surgery. My heart isn’t exactly in the best condition, so even though I heard dozens of times that it was a simple procedure, once it was actually before the injection needle went in, I got nervous. Maybe the nurses were used to this kind of thing, because they made light jokes and smiled while telling me it would be okay, but until the anesthesia kicked in and the world started feeling round and floaty, I was honestly more nervous than on the day I took the college entrance exam. Right up until just before surgery, I regretted it, thinking that in my 20-something years of life I had never been told I was unattractive, so did I really need to do this? I was told not to worry and to relax because the swelling would go down in about 3 days, but maybe my body just isn’t suited to surgery, because it still looked awkward and swollen until a week had passed, to the point where I went around wearing sunglasses in winter. But now that a lot of time has passed, it has gotten better, and I’m satisfied. It looks so natural that I think this is exactly the best possible result for my eyes, and it doesn’t look awkward at all. I was so worried that I think I looked at thousands of review photos, and even after several months, I saw some photos where the upper eyelids still looked swollen and awkward. Since no incision was made, even when I close my eyes there aren’t any visible surgery marks, and it still looks slightly pinched, but I think that will go away soon. At first, it looked like it was folded a lot, but now it’s gradually becoming faint, so I think it’ll soon barely be visible. I’m so happy after getting the surgery. If I had the money, I’d even consider nose surgery. Anyway, I’m extremely satisfied.
