About 6 years ago, I had my double eyelids fixed very thinly as inner double eyelids, and I had a very extensive epicanthoplasty.
Back then, I preferred eyes without obvious double eyelids.. So I told the director I wanted eyes like Lee Joon-gi or So Ji-sub, with no visible double eyelid but large and horizontally long, sharp-looking eyes lol
The double eyelids turned out fairly natural, but the problem was that the director opened the inner corners way too muchㅠㅠ
Before surgery, the distance between my eyes was actually on the wider side, but because the epicanthoplasty was overdone, I would often hear that my eyes looked close together like Shin Dong-yupㅠㅠ
Still, I just lived with it, but to make matters worse, recently even my double eyelids came undone..
I felt like I really couldn't keep going like that, so I made an appointment at another hospital a month ago.
I told them that because I had lived with eyes that were opened too much for so long, I heard a lot that my impression looked sharp.. and that I wanted my impression to look a bit softer.
The director said it would be good to restore the epicanthoplasty and raise the double eyelid line..
So I made up my mind and had revision surgery.
The result is extremely satisfying haha. My eye shape really looks much gentlerㅎ The distance between my eyes has become appropriate tooㅎ
There is still a scar from the epicanthoplasty restoration, but they said it takes quite a long time to heal completelyㅠㅠ I guess I just have to be patient and wait..
Still, compared to my old eyes, I feel like I've completely transformedㅎ
