In January, I had 2-3 mm Gore-Tex, nasal dorsum osteotomy, and 5 mm septal cartilage at the nasal tip.
I got it thinking it was silicone, you know? But the hospital put in Gore-Tex..ㅜㅜ If it was Gore-Tex, I wouldn’t have done it..
On top of that, my current nose line has a bulge around the glabella area ㅠㅠ.. They said it seems like a capsule that formed from the nasal dorsum osteotomy..
Clearly, whether it’s silicone or whatever, most people end up getting revision surgery later. But in the case of Gore-Tex, they say the more time passes, the harder it is to return to my original nose..
I just want to remove the Gore-Tex and get out of this mental distress. I’ll leave the nasal tip as is..
What I’m worried about is.. the side effects that come after removal and the fact that I had a nasal dorsum osteotomy.. Because they fractured my nasal bridge, I can’t imagine what I’ll look like after taking out the bridge implant..ㅜㅜ Whether my nose might look spread out because of the osteotomy, whether the nasal tip was raised too high and there might be a height difference, whether the skin might become necrotic.. And they say that if you remove it, you can get an upturned nose.. After surgery, in the early stage, my nose did turn upward ㅠㅠ It went back after the swelling went down.. There are people for whom it doesn’t work out, but you never know what can happen.. I also never thought I would have revision surgery..
I’m going to the hospital for a consultation at lunchtime today.. Things I should ask when I go,
or anyone who has had removal, please give me advice.. Anything at all
