Because of my age, I hesitated a lot about going as far as surgery. I thought recovery would get worse with each passing year, so I felt I should do it before it got any later and had the surgery. I was diagnosed for 2 procedures: square jaw and chin, with long-curve contouring, so I had the surgery exactly as recommended. Since I’m in my 40s, I worried a lot that my face would sag quickly, but I’m happy because it seems to be maintaining well without any cheek sagging. On the day of surgery, I had severe pain in the inpatient room, but the nurses kept checking on my condition, so I was able to feel reassured. Before discharge, I was also able to see the director, so I could go home without feeling anxious. At first it was very difficult, but after about 2 weeks it became much more comfortable and bearable. I wore a mask and went on many walks. After surgery, once 2 months had passed, I received care with treatments like InMode, and at that time my face became much slimmer, so I felt very good when looking in the mirror. Since the bone has been contoured well, I’m thinking of working hard on laser care too.
