Satisfied after my third revision surgery

Around 2008, I followed a friend and had nose surgery at a clinic across from COEX (now closed). It was done with a non-incisional method, so there was no scar, and the side line of my nose was pretty. But as the swelling went down, it became very obvious that the nasal bridge was crooked, so around 2011 I decided to have revision surgery. I had nose surgery together with my younger sibling at a large hospital in Apgujeong (it was my sibling’s first surgery). We both had an open-incision approach, but my sibling had no scar and was satisfied with the nose line. For me, the incision line looked red, and the area between my eyebrows looked slightly crooked. They said that because my face was asymmetrical to begin with, it was unavoidable as the silicone settled into place. They told me to keep watching the incision line, and hoping it would improve over time, since I couldn’t have another revision surgery, I lived while trying hard to stay positive. (After that, because I was needlessly unhappy with it, I also had alar reduction, which made my nostril asymmetry worse.) Then I got tired of living stressed about whether other people could see the scar when I lay down, looked upward, or did yoga or PT exercises, and whether the nostril asymmetry or crooked nasal bridge line would show, so I started going around for consultations again. I got estimates from about three places, then met a director who gave blunt, realistic feedback, and honestly I didn’t get answers that were extremely satisfying about what was realistically possible and impossible. (They said the nasal bridge had to be loweredㅠㅠ) But the director pursued the most natural look, and the realistic consultation felt trustworthy. They said they couldn’t make both the nasal bridge and nostrils perfectly symmetrical, but they were confident they could make them suit my face so the asymmetry wouldn’t stand out at first glance. In the end, I had surgery in winter 2023, and I’m now living very satisfied. The scar is visible if you look closely, but they had told me in advance that because my previous scar was severe, that couldn’t be helped. So I looked up a dermatology clinic specializing in scars in advance and went there afterward. Now, unless you look very closely, it doesn’t show, and because my own nasal bone is crooked, if I press and feel the nasal bridge carefully, it isn’t a perfectly straight vertical line, but I’m satisfied because I don’t think it shows in photos or just by looking! My face itself is asymmetrical, so I was so, so anxious even while getting revision surgery, but I hope people with concerns similar to mine find the right director for them!
