Before surgery, I was always worried about my asymmetrical eyes, so rather than wanting to have flashy double eyelids, I thought it would be so nice if only my asymmetrical eyes did not show when I was photographed with the rear camera.. That is why I decided to get double eyelid surgery. Before surgery, I spent about 6 months visiting clinics and studying why my eyes were asymmetrical. The biggest reason was that I was using my eyebrow strength more on only one eye. But between my two asymmetrical eyes, I liked the bigger one, and if I corrected that, both would become smaller.. So I thought, let’s just do double eyelids too, and because I had a lot of fat on my upper eyelids, I decided on ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery + fat removal! Honestly, since it was my first surgery, I hesitated about incision... but I wanted to find a hospital that was good at it, even if I paid more, and finish it in one go ㅠ After surgery, the asymmetry was corrected so much that I am very satisfied!! I think it turned out naturally, so my existing image does not seem to have changed too much either. I was looking into eye-specialty, single-doctor clinics, and I visited this place because I heard it was a single-doctor clinic with an asymmetrical-eye correction program(?). Both the counseling manager and the doctor were very kind. What I liked most was that they used a program to analyze my photos accurately, understood the patient’s needs, and tried to match them within what was possible. They clearly said no to what was not possible.. ㅋㅋ And this may be unrelated, but it was also the only hospital that asked about the ophthalmologic function of my eyes... Actually, I was recommended four-way canthoplasty + fat removal + incisional double eyelid surgery, but as you can see in the last photo, my pupils are on the smaller side, so I declined canthoplasty, and that process was completely pressure-free!! I also asked a lot of questions about ptosis correction because of side effects, and they answered everything kindly ㅎㅎ I am so satisfied that I really wonder why I only did it now, so I hope everyone here also gets good results at a good hospital..!!
