My pre-op nose, visible even in photos -My nasal tip was very low and my columella tended to hang down -A slight hump* I wanted my side profile to look pretty, and I had a bulbous nose and a complex about my nose, so I debated a lot over whether to get nose surgery or not. So I got a lot of clinic recommendations from acquaintances and started researching nose surgery clinics online! *Reasons for choosing the clinic* -Some friends had successful nose surgery at that clinic, and while looking through reviews and apps, the design matched the design I wanted, so I went for a consultation. -The coordinators, nurses, manager, and director were all so kind that every time I went to the clinic, I never had a bad experience. -I wanted natural-looking nose surgery without inserting an implant, and the director confidently said that even without implants, he could make a pretty line. He drew on an iPad while checking the nose design together with me, and I felt his aesthetic sense was really good. -I went around to all the other clinics, but whether it was the consultation or the design, I guess I felt strongly drawn to this place. -I had planned to have surgery since last year, but I got scared, canceled, made a whole fuss(?), went for tons of re-consultations.. Honestly I was kind of a difficult patient, and in the end I had surgery this year, but they smiled and reassured me, saying everything was okay ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋ *Day of surgery* I was nervous from the day before, so I could not sleep properly and arrived at the clinic ㅋㅋㅋ I think I was even more nervous because it was my first time having sedation anesthesia ㅜㅜ I changed clothes and followed the nurses, and I was at the operating table, then lay down and got extremely nervous. As soon as they told me anesthesia was starting, I do not remember anything. I think I went under right away. When the nurses woke me up and I opened my eyes, the surgery was already over, and I felt nauseous because of the anesthesia. The most uncomfortable thing was that my throat was so dry, and all my saliva had dried up too, which was uncomfortable. Should I say my throat was more uncomfortable than my nose? I ate porridge, took medicine, and felt sleepy so I tried to sleep, but I could not even sleep lying down, so I really could not sleep properly. I endured the next few days by repeatedly sleeping and waking up. *Day 2 to one week* After my nose surgery, I was so curious about everything that I looked in the mirror, and there was blood on the nasal gauze. Because of the cotton packing, I could not breathe well, so it was very stuffy. Anyway, I was so curious about my nose line, but because of the splint, I was dying to see the line ㅠㅠ I think I lived just waiting for the day the splint would be removed and the day the cotton would be taken out. Seriously, after that, when I slept and woke up, the swelling and bruising had gotten worse, but it was not swelling and bruising that severe, and the biggest thing was just feeling unpleasantㅜㅜ(apply cold compresses + warm compresses often) I could not lower my head or tilt it back, so I even drank water with a straw. I just found myself funny ㅋㅋㅋ After a few days, around when it was almost a week, the swelling and bruising began to move downward and slowly go down, and I went to the clinic and had both the cotton and splint removed. Anyway, I want to drink alcohol…. *They told me the swelling would go down more from here, so not to worry even if it looked very bulky* *One month* Now there is nothing uncomfortable, and should I say it feels familiar like it was originally my nose…? Since my side profile became prettier, I think I developed a habit without realizing it of trying to show only my side profile to people ㅋㅋㅋ Putting on makeup feels fun, and the best part is that I do not have to do heavy nose contouring. My bulbous nose, which was my biggest complex, also improved, so I was really happy, and I am happy just that my nose became slimmer. Also, I had a little liposuction around the jawline, and with that synergy, my side profile was also shaped so prettily. The awkward feeling is gradually decreasing day by day. Now, if there is anything uncomfortable, it is that boogers keep building up, but it is uncomfortable that I cannot pick them freely like before.. I think I was needlessly scared before surgery, and if you endure only the early discomfort, you can make a pretty nose, so I am really happy. I am regretting that I should have had nose surgery a little earlier ㅋㅋㅋ Since no silicone was used, there is no foreign-body sensation or anything like that, and it feels much less burdensome... Honestly, because it was implant-free, I was worried the line might not come out pretty, but I am really so thankful to the director for giving me a new nose.
