<Before><After>A lot more people around me have been asking where I got my double chin liposuction done these days after seeing that my jawline looks more defined To be honest, I already poured almost everything into my first review, and my recovery afterward was pretty smooth too But as time passed, there were a few more things I wanted to leave behind So I’m writing again because I think this could also be helpful for anyone worried about a double chin First of all, my double chin was a really chronic source of stress for me And I’m the type whose whole impression looks droopy when the jawline collapses So I had the surgery with the mindset that if I was going to do it once, I wanted it done accurately and with long-lasting results With liposuction, honestly, it’s not just about removing fat The skin has to be thin for the results to show well, and elasticity has to be managed too So I think the most important thing was finding the method that fit my face The combination I had at the time was - Double chin liposuction - Thread lifting to refine the jawline - Separately tidying up the lower cheek fat with fat dissolving injections That was the setup, and looking back now, I think it was a really good choice for me If I had only done liposuction alone, it may have looked slimmer But it might not have looked this neatly defined Because thread lifting and fat dissolving injections were done together, I barely worried about skin sagging And the progress settled really nicely I wasn’t the type to recover that quickly I had a lot of swelling, so until around days 3 to 5, I felt a bit puffy It looked okay from the front because it wasn’t very noticeable But from the side, it felt like, where did my jawline go? But really interestingly, once exactly the first week passed The line started to become defined, and from around 2 weeks, people started saying I looked different If I had to give recovery tips: 1. Use cold compresses only on the first day, then keep using warm compresses afterward 2. Don’t lower your head, and manage your sleeping posture with a neck pillow too 3. Wearing a compression band is literally “essential” Honestly, the compression band was so uncomfortable that I almost threw it aside after two days But the few days I endured and wore it properly made a difference in the results There’s a huge difference between the swelling going down while the line becomes defined And just staying swollen without proper care until everything ends vaguely And what’s important is Surgery doesn’t mean everything is over You have to manage it systematically for at least over 1 month until the swelling fully goes down and elasticity comes back That’s how you can hear “What did you do? Your face looks so much more defined” instead of just “Did you lose weight?” lol It’s been quite a while since my surgery now And honestly, when I compare photos from before and now I’ve even heard that it doesn’t look like the fat under my chin changed, but that the position of my jawbone itself looks different I’m realizing that this isn’t just because fat was removed But because the whole line was refined If you’ve been worrying about a double chin for a long time I recommend not just automatically doing fat liposuction alone But getting a consultation for a combination that suits your own face type I’m one of the cases where I genuinely think the surgery turned out well So I hope this helps even a little for everyone here who had the same concern!
