Jena Community Review

My original eyes were monolids + the space between my eyebrows and eyes was on the narrow side + multiple creases, so I was thinking I’d probably need an incisional method. The first clinic I went to was Jena, and they recommended burial-method double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction (both non-incisional). After that, I went to 2 more places. The second place recommended incision, and the third said both incisional and non-incisional were possible, but to correct the multiple creases I’d need incision, though for now they recommended burial method more. (???) Honestly, I didn’t feel at all that Jena’s staff were kind (the doctor was sweet, and they also shaped the double-eyelid line in an intuitively perfect way, yeah), so since I was getting surgery anyway, I wanted to do it in a good mood. At the third clinic, both the doctor and staff were all so kind, so I agonized over it, but still chose Dr. Cha because he had more experience. The swelling hasn’t all gone down yet, so I’m not sure, but people around me all say it was done well and looks pretty. I’m fairly satisfied too. But when removing the stitches, the nurse did it, and I did see the doctor, but he just said it turned out well and left. (Honestly, maybe because my case was simple.) But the operating room and recovery room felt smaller in scale than I expected. I’ll watch the swelling go down more and come back to write again.
