Posting a one-month review of arm liposuction I had at ㅌㄹㅇ in Apgujeong. (Please note that I’m posting this for real!!!) The two photos shown first... even if I don’t say they’re before photos, you can tell,, Because of my upper arms, I had a body type that looked bulky to anyone. No matter how much weight I lost, my upper arms just would not slim down... For reference, these photos are ones where I had gained a lot of weight. ^^
On the day of surgery, some parts felt rushed, so I wondered, “Is it normally done this quickly?” But after the surgery and some time passed, seriously... I wondered why I didn’t do it sooner. On day 1, the reduction was really noticeable, so even seeing it with my own eyes was so, so fascinating. It gets slimmer this immediately? Since I’m very impatient by nature, I really liked that the effect showed right away.
From day 3 through week 1 and week 3, I had a lot of swelling because of bio-bonding (I looked this up a lot too. They’re hard, stone-like lumps, and it’s natural for them to form. They gradually get smaller and disappear. Mine haven’t all disappeared yet!) and there was also fluid inside, so I managed it with light exercise and a steady diet.
But what I truly felt after liposuction was, people who want to lose fat without making any effort should reflect while reading my post. You can think of liposuction as something that boosts the effects of dieting more quickly. If you see results right after surgery and immediately stuff all kinds of delicious food into your stomach, I honestly think it defeats the purpose. Of course, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to my before state, but I think you still have to work just as hard on maintenance.
Personally, after surgery I managed my diet strictly, and did walking exercise. After stitch removal, I managed it by doing one hour of cardio every day. So the swelling went down quickly, my arm line became noticeably slimmer, and I’m 20000 percent satisfied.
Honestly, the doctor who did my surgery was so cold and only did the design on the day of surgery without saying much, so I was a little annoyed, but now I want to bow deeply to the hospital and call him Dad. (No, I’m already blessing him in my prayers.)
... Anyway, the conclusion of the review I wanted to write is that even as I’m writing this, I’m still continuing to slim down, and they scheduled radiofrequency care for me too, so I’m going this week and receiving care diligently. When I look in the mirror while also working hard on diet control and cardio, and see my slimmer arms, smaller face, and shoulder lines that used to be hidden by my bulky frame, it honestly feels much bigger than simply “I had surgery.” My life itself feels more comfortable, I enjoy looking in the mirror every morning, and choosing clothes has become so much fun. I’m looking forward to the coming summer, and seeing myself living while managing myself diligently every day has raised my self-esteem too. Of course, I can’t say this is 100 percent because of liposuction. In the end, I’m the one who made the effort. But the surgery definitely helped, and I think I created synergy with it and am living even harder..! I covered everything like that and uploaded review photos because of personal privacy, but in real life, it’s amazing. Everyone around me says I got so much smaller.
I hope everyone also takes this chance to live healthily, beautifully, confidently, and proudly. This is an honest review written with that purpose. Bye~~~! I’m off to exercise~~~
