Clinic name: ㅇㅇㅍ Consultant: Director ㄱㅊㅁ Consultation fee: 10,000 won (photos O) Review: Honestly, this was the place I had the highest expectations for from when I was researching online, and since there weren’t many reviews, it was the place I wanted to visit the most. It was the weekend, but maybe because I went right when they opened, I had the consultation right away without waiting. They took photos before the consultation, and the consultant explained things well while looking at the photos. The director’s voice was delicate..? shy. They explained everything calmly and thoroughly, and I asked everything I was curious about. They even brought out a bone model to explain. They said my eye type was exactly the kind where fat grafting would be easy to recommend, but said I didn’t have to do it. (But other places also didn’t recommend fat grafting.) Their hands smelled like soap, and I liked the shape they made for me with a cotton swab. I said I was worried about my under-eye shape becoming bumpy because of septum reinforcement, but after hearing the detailed explanation, I felt reassured. AS for 2 years, swelling laser included for 1 year. The price was 1.65 million won, or 1.32 million won if booking the same day. Overall, they were kind and the atmosphere was good. There was one surgery slot open at the time I wanted, so I impulsively put down a deposit from the very first consultation. (They said it was 100% refundable until one week before surgery.) I think.. my mind was just made up from the first consultation.

Clinic name: ㅌㅂ Consultant: Director ㄱㄷㅎ Consultation fee: 10,000 won (photos X) Review: The previous clinic consultation ended early, so I went a bit early, and I went straight into consultation with the consultant. (Honestly, the atmosphere felt like a factory-style dermatology clinic..? People were on their phones at reception.. chatting.. That was just the impression I got.) They didn’t take separate photos, and when I said I came after watching YouTube, the consultant asked if I had watched ㅁㄱㄷ’s video. After the consultant left and I waited a bit, the director came in hurriedly through another door. Here, the director looked really busy. What I remember is that their hands smelled a little like ㄷㅂ.. Instead of using a cotton swab, they roughly shaped it with their hands, but there was a bit of a ㄷㅂ smell, so...... yeah. They explained my eye type and the surgical method well. I also asked about the side effect of the under-eye shape becoming bumpy from septum reinforcement, and they said that can happen if the middle septum is weak? in some people. They said surgery is more difficult in that case too, but that they would only know after opening the eye area, so I got a little worried. And I said I disliked how my aegyo-sal looks like two lines when I tense the area under my eyes. They said they correct based on the expressionless state, so it may not improve completely. (They said the same at ㄸㅋ too.) Somehow the consultation ended really quickly, and the director looked rushed, so I couldn’t ask more.. They also didn’t take separate photos. Honestly, the consultation fee felt like a waste. When I checked the surgery schedule, it was full because of the holiday period, so only late times were left.. I said I’d contact them later and left. The price was 1.43 million won based on same-day booking!! I didn’t write down the original price ㅠ

Clinic name: ㄸㅋ Consultant: Director ㅇㅎㅈ Consultation fee: X (photos O) (ㅇㅇㅍ and ㅌㅂ give a 100% refund if you book the same day, but here, instead of having no consultation fee, they don’t refund 10,000 won. So they pushed same-day booking a lot. When I said I’d think about it and come back, they said something like, “Since we don’t charge a consultation fee.. you need to put down the deposit first~”) Review: Honestly, there were tons of reviews in a community, so I went for comparison. Among the three places, the clinic facilities were the cleanest and biggest! There were many foreigners too. I didn’t know there was no consultation fee, but I seriously waited forever.. The other clinics weren’t this bad. I took photos, had the consultant consultation, and kept wa~~iting. They said the director was in surgery. The director explained in detail, but somehow.. explained the tear trough by comparing it to a Southeast Asian hammock. They seemed to like explaining things through analogies. (Somehow.. because I had to imagine it while listening, it was a little harder to understand.) When I asked questions, they said, “That’s exactly why I’m saying this,” so I felt kind of awkward lol ㅠ I wondered why this place had so many reviews. They said that through a review-writing event, if the clinic contacts you within 1~6 months, you have to write two posts each on two apps, for a total of four reviews. Event price was 1,749,000 won. The surgery schedule didn’t work for me, so I said I’d think about it and left.
All three places explained that 100% improvement might not be possible. There was no excessive recommendation for fat grafting. Since I wanted to have surgery during the holiday period, I decided to have surgery at ㅇㅇㅍ, where the surgery schedule worked for me. They recommend lenses and makeup after 2 weeks, but since I have to go back to work exactly one week later, I asked. They said lenses are okay if I can put them in by lifting only the upper eyelid without touching the under-eye area.. They said it’s best to avoid touching it as much as possible. (Can’t be helped, I guess..)
I think all of them are good at surgery, and you can just have surgery where you get the right feeling!!!
