My first surgery was 8 years ago, and I had partial-incision buried double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty. Since I was young and it was a famous clinic in Seoul, I just trusted them completely. After 6 months, one eye came undone.. So I lived with that undone eye for 6 months, then visited the clinic where I had the surgery again, and they said they would redo both eyes for free. I was satisfied. Since it was revision surgery, I thought it would swell a lot and become sausage eyes, but not at all. It turned out even better than the first time, so I lived without any worries. Then 3 years later, one side came undone again. ... If it had come undone this much, they should not have done the buried method, but they said it would absolutely never come undone and did the buried method again. This time they only operated on one eye. I seriously regret it like crazy..!!!! Even after a year, my eyes are uneven (slightly). For 6 months it was really obviousㅜ I lived under so much stress, and after that I just got used to it and lived with it somehow.
Then 4 years later, I woke up and it had come undone. In front of the mirror, while I was looking, it just slowly came undone. .. lol It wasn’t even something that gradually loosened over time, just pop, it went back to my old eye ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Now I’m older too ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Ha, I’ve been living with this eye for several days now, and I’ve scheduled a surgery date and am waiting. This time at a different clinic lol
If you have thin skin and such, please think carefully when choosing the buried method.
